Franz Fox Featured Artist In February At Gallery Of Modern Masters

Fine Arts painter Franz Fox will be the featured artist at the Gallery of Modern Masters during the month of February, 2018. Works featured will include abstract paintings Caribbean Soul and his "Andalucia Series" which includes Prima Donna, LaMancha and El Matador (pictured). Additionally a collection of his floral impasto works will be available.
Fox was born on the island of Cuba and his family moved to the United States before the Cuban missile crisis. His formal education is in architecture, but Fox also studied painting in Paris, France and Malaga, Spain. The influence of his Spanish heritage can be seen in his works.
Fox ran his own gallery in Lancaster for five years before moving onto the national stage. Since then he has shown work in Philadelphia, New York City and Boston, MA. He recently had a solo show at the Haley & Steele Gallery in Boston.
Franz will be present during the reception which will be held at the Gallery of Modern Masters on Friday, February 2 from 5 - 8:30pm. The gallery is located at 28 Penn Square in Lancaster, PA. The Lancaster gallery is the second location for the Gallery of Modern Masters, which is also located at Hillside in Sedona, AZ since 2005.
