Franz Fox Studios and Gallery is located in Lancaster County, PA. The gallery features the varied paintings of fine arts painter Franz Fox. Franzs newest genre of abstract paintings is called Neoplasticity. These paintings have a main figural element painted in oil or acrylic. Then fine detail is added with pen and ink, creating hidden figures and symbols. These paintings come in a variety of sizes. The smallest works are 4 inches x 4 inches, with a variety of sizes in between up to as large as 48 inches x 60 inches. Franz also paints beautiful landscapes inspired by his travels to Europe.

Franz Fox was born on the island of Cuba. During his travels to England, France, Italy, Spain, and Holland, Franz perfected his art through his studies of landscape and architecture. He apprenticed with several master artists in Paris, France and Malaga, Spain. His formal education is in architecture which gives him a unique mastery of perspective and spatiality.

In 2016, Franz was accepted for representation at the Viridian Artists Contemporary Gallery in Chelsea, New York City.

Instinctual Drift by Franz Fox, a work in the Neoplasticity genre, was selected to be included in Six Summit Gallerys Art Gala event, Vision, which was held at Pier Sixty in Chelsea, New York City. Work for the show was selected by jurors including, Steven Assael, widely regarded as one of the top figurative artists in the world, David Wenzel, The Hobbit, graphic novel illustrator, Domingo Zapata, internationally acclaimed Spanish-American post-abstract representational painter, and Honorary Celebrity Juror, Vanessa Williams, film, television, and music star. The show is curated by Six Summit Gallery owner Leonardo Feroleto.

In addition to Six Summit Gallery, Franz is also represented by 3rd Street Gallery in Philadelphia, PA, Xanadu Gallery, Scottsdale, AZ and the Carlisle Arts Learning Center in Carlisle, PA. Franz was juried into the New York Art.com group in New York City and InLiquid in Philadelphia.

Franz is a member of the Oil Painters of America, an organization devoted to traditional representational paintings.

Several of Franz's recent abstract paintings are on display at Dane Decor, located at 315 Arch Street, Philadelphia. His painting, Black and White was selected by the designers of Tryba Architects and purchased by AIMCO in 2015 for permanent installation at their Park Towne Place apartments, located in the museum district of Philadelphia.

Construction his new studio was recently completed. Original paintings are available. Private showings by appointment only are now being accepted. Contact Franz at 717-636-1826 or email foxfranz@yahoo.com to schedule your appointment.
